Cut the BS, T-Mobile!

It's fine to advertise that your network is faster, show the difference in speed, and promote that. But calling your 3G technology "4G" is a bald faced lie! Cut the BS, tell the truth, and work on improving your service, T-Mobile! Concentrate on coverage and speed, not buzzwords!

Sprint and T-Mobile are going to get sued...I can tell you that right now. They are advertising their networks as 4G when neither one meet the 4G requirements. Someone will take them to court for lying to consumers just like they tried to sue AT&T because their iPhone 3G didn't have 3G coverage everywhere. Only Sprint and T-Mobile are actually lying...

No one is going to have "4G" for at least another few years. Yet ALL of the carriers are touting their sub-100MBS as "4G"

The thing is, neither T-Mobile or Sprint are going to get sued over this. If any of the other carriers sued them, they would have to admit to the public that they, themselves, don't actually have "4G"

As for T-Mobile focusing on network speeds instead of "buzzwords" I think they are doing just that. But don't forget, they need to focus on making money too. No customers= no money. No buzzwords= no customers.

No, the carriers won't sue...consumers will. In fact, all you have to do is buy an EVO...wait 30 days...then go to a lawyer and say Sprint said that you had a 4G phone, but you went online and read that the 4G they promoted isn't actually 4G and take them to court for lying to you...which is what they are doing.

Give it a few months. Sprint will for speed alone, but T-Mobile is just out right lying. At least WiMAX has a vein in 4G technology. T-Mobile is using a high speed 3G technology...

True but Sprints current towers are Spitting out 70mbs compared to tmobiles 21mbs. Sprints current towers are compatiable with Wimax 2 which is getting standardized this month and rolling out next year. Sprint can easily upgrade to meet some bs certification tmobile cannot!

Tmobile network crashed for one video chat application that has not even been released tmobile network is junk!

I have yet to see 4G clearly/officially defined as anything other than a very loose set of standards on a fourth generation network.

very loose indeed, its all hype but for the sake of people as ive said before the average consumer doesn care about 100 or 50 or 20mbs per second only us tech geeks do, if they see 4g they immediately think its better than 3g and 4 is higher than 3 so it has to be better. Just the realities of the world.

Sprint is not lying! They are using 4g technology and have been using way before some bs company decieded to say only Wimax 2 is 4g. Understand this Sprints entire Wimax network is fully compatiable with Wimax 2. Tmobile bs hspa+ is not and is consider 3g tech. 4g should also be based on what u use it for not just the Speed. tmo will not make it far with this blasphemy! 🤨
