Well, not everyone needs an unlimited data. Some people might use a few megs a month. Unfortunately for me, this plan would not work because I went back 6 months and looked at my data useage and I average a few hundred megs a month. I don't need unlimited data but I do need more than 150 or 200 megs.

What little it is, they are trying.
Verizon's plans as well as AT&T have a lot to be desired.
It is their network platform that keeps such a loyal and large customer base.
If they worked on the plans, the possibilities would be endless.

I like how T-mobile is doing their quasi-tiered data plans.

Pay for XXXX megabytes of fast data, but if you exceed that, you can still load simple webpages and feed emails with ZERO overages.

DiamondPro would jump in at this point with a bunch of exclamation points, smileys and other irrelevances and tout Clear's truly unlimited position right now, but the reality is this:

1) Tiered pricing plans with ridiculous overage rates are unfair to the consumer.

2) Unlimited flat rate plans are too big a liability, and are unfair to the stockholders.

T-mobile's solution is the best possible reconciliation I can think of, they just need to have higher tiers available for those who want them. They need to have 10 GB, 25 GB and 50 GB pla...

You must have missed the memo about sprint's tiered data pricing coming for the galaxy s tab. I know you're a Sprint fan boy so I just wanted to point out that your god-like carrier is doing the same thing.

I'm willing to bet they will change too.
