Yikes! What's so bad about LG? I've never owned one of their phones.

Most bad phones have a shelf life of about 4-6 months, LG's is 2-6 weeks before they start going to crap for pretty much all of their phones now.

The LG Lotus Elite is actually a very solid handset. I don't have anything bad to say about LG phones. Last LG phone I had was the original LG Chocolate and it never gave me any problems.

If you haven't used any of the VZW LG phones then you do not know what the heck you are talking about.

Don't compare LG GSM phones with LG CDMA phones for VZW because quality is way better than the ones Samsung makes (talking about regular phones and messaging phones). I have 5 lines on VZW and all are using LG phones, from enV 2, enV Touch, VX5400 and all are working fine.

I have to respectfully disagree with the idea of LG quality, at least on their supposed premium phones.

VX5400 - VX5600: great basic phones, no issues
ENV2 - keypads always just seem to die
ENV3 - 10 software updates and still just randomly power cycles
ENV Touch - same deal, we swap like 15 a week out of my store and we're a smaller store. That doesn't include the ones that are just completely trashed visually so we can't warranty them.

LG is not what it once was in my opinion. They look nice, seem to be well designed in concept, but the majority seem to function like garbage.

Samsung on the other hand seems to do fairly well by comparison, even though I'm not a fan of most of their handsets cosmetically.

My Original enV, was great, except for the random restarts when opening the camera app and switching to video. was rather dumb and pointless if I couldn't use that feature and would cause a restart. same with the Voyager, the enV touch before the actual enV Touch 🤣
I do miss my original enV because it was 100x better than the Voyager.

If I remember correctly the problem with the LG phones power cycling started from the enV3 and on. It was not on every model but when I had the VX8300 and the Voyager I had it happen a few times.

The ENV3 problem was the battery not seating correctly. Once they replaced the battery Ive seen a DRASTIC drop in ones that cycle like that.
