This week in "initiatives that won't go anywhere"

I don't know where to begin with this. First off, dumbphones already have a dumbed-down app platform. Adding another dumbed-down app platform isn't going to go anywhere. Especially starting on a carrier like Sprint, who seems slow to learn that their software initiatives always end up in disaster.

Sprint will get plenty of new subscribers as AT&T's already overloaded crappy GSM network drops more and more calls.

Ummm... "AT&Ts network performs 10xs better than Sprints"? How can you possibly say that without admitting ignorance?

Sprint has less dropped calls
More data spectrum (4G capped currently, check Wimax 2 update coming soon... 50+Mbps)
More 3G coverage
Stronger 3G signal
More Voice coverage (with roaming)

... So please enlighten? 🙄

AT&T has a larger data footprint.

AT&T has a faster 3G Network

AT&T's 3G Network is faster in the real world than Sprint's 4G Network.

Sprint's data spectrum is shared between 3 non-compatible technologies. AT&T's is shared between two compatible technologies.

So there you go.

And in regards to dropped calls, I get way less with AT&T than I do on Sprint. So chew on that. 😎
