are we really that lazy?
has it really come down to this? we need every device to access the internet in our house? what's next the microwave? refrigerator? If i am at home it's pretty much assumed i have internet access, on top of that it's probably on a laptop which does not limit me to a specific part of the house on top of that I can most likely link my laptop to my TV through an htmi cable.
Are we really that lazy?? that we have to have our TV access facebook while we watch "America's next top (insert icon here)"
Have we really gotten to the point where we have to tweet about annoying commercial interruptions as they happen?? seriously what's next?

What device makes more sense than the TV? Right now, there are plenty of game consoles, DVD players, and DVRs that can stream media (e.g. Netflix). Why not do it straight to the TV and save the expense? Heck networks are putting more and more full episodes on the web. Eventually, everything will be data delivered over IP. Why pay a cable or satellite provider for a separate TV plan?
In most homes the TV is the largest screen and situated in a place conducive to viewing by a group. Nothing makes more sense than internet content on a TV.
