Those of us who like clamshell styles and don't want a 5 inch all touchscreen phone will like this. I have to see it in person first of course but it's got apps, wifi, new os on board, Full qwerty (unlike the previous flip version) good cam w flash which is a must for me now on my phone & I like the styling of the Lotus esp the Elite which is easy to talk on "yes that's still done on a phone". Anyway this very well may be my next phone prob on my upgrade the price may even drop. Oh and to squash all the stereotypes no im not a girl and im not that old Lol. Ive seen some pics of this phone not looking to shabby when closed at least. It looks pretty compact who else agrees with all this & may get this??

I know a lot of people with the Lotus and love the form factor- it just makes sense. It's super comfortable to type on because you don't have the awkward weighting you get with slide-up keyboard (Torch)

Just got to play with one. First blackberry product I've been excited for in a while. I love the Lotus form factor, this thing blows the Lotus away. The screen is beautiful.

Think of who Blackberry users are, they are mainly business people who use the phone as a communication tool. Many are put off by all of the "cool factor" of Android and iphones.
This phone makes a lot of sense for some of my customers who work in the trades or in manufacturing. Having a Blackberry clamshell protecting the screen is appealing. This phone was developed for a specific audience and not a generalized crowd. It will do well with that audience if it is as reliable as other Blackberries.

Maybey even a few guys haha. But ya I wouldnt care who was making this device to be honest with ya. I just love all the specs in this form factor.
