No, they didn't miss it, you just fail at google:

Verizon doesn't want the money, they want the federal government to provide the moeny taken from the USF to rural wireless carriers to build out LTE because it's more effective than trying to get landline fiber into those locations.

You say you're here to point out the falsehoods given by "paid reps."

But here's the kicker, you need to know what you're talking about to do that.

They still want the money they just have a smart way of going around it. They will eventually buy out or use those smaller networks to make there infrastructure seem larger! Thats all verizon has done to get to this size is buy out the smaller networks and raise prices. But how can they do that if there are not smaller lte networks to acquire?

My apologies to phonescoop I didnt see that article and I check here regularly, but did they post the one about the Wimax 2 speeds?

Id like to see them do an actual video of the Epic 4g vs the g2 speed test to show what speeds they can achieve

Agreed. I am not buying their act. Hopefully the Feds won't eith...wait...we're screwed. The Feds can't tell the difference between their arses and a hole in the ground.

I fully believe this as well. VZW is a cash cow with a motive. They know that any more acquisitions at this point are not an option through Government. If VZW pushes for this help, it will allow these smaller carriers to survive giving the impression of competition without monopolatistic presence.

However, once the smaller carriers can no longer afford to license spectrum, it is either stop offering the technology and fall behind or; sell to/or get gobbled by the only obvious survivor.
