Question about cingular's 3G
Looks like its finally out but the lg and the samsung are both lack luster in features and design. Is the Samsung P857 going to be 3g cause i love the way the phone looks and is worth being on cingulars 3g network. I am a loyal cingular user but right now they are getting crappy phone and extremly delayed times. Same go's for the push to talk.

No, I don't think the P857 will be 3G.
While I'm disappointed with Cingular's initial 3G lineup as well, their 2G phone selection is actually one of the biggest and most varied ever offered by a U.S. carrier.

on that note Rich, you've completely captured my frustration with Cingular's 3g launch with this statement:

It's puzzling why Cingular doesn't seem to want spiffy phones like the Z560 to showcase what its new HSDPA network can do."

Well I don't know whats going on with cingular and samsung releasing such a ugly phone (zx10) when there about to come out with the zx20 not to long afterwards not to mention its the same ugly design lol, either way I"m glad they're getting on the ball and releasing such a sexy phone for cingular, I hope it atleast has edge cause i'm willing to get it and have it tie me over till they come out with a really good 3G phone, any chance of one havin Push to talk at the sametime anytime soon? Keep us up to date with the P857 as soon as u can.
