While this is good news, I found the statement, "a tool that allows Windows Phone 7 to sync select content with Mac computers," and bit odd.

It almost sounds as if full-content syncing won't be available for Macs.

Then I remembered that WP7 devices will sync using the Zune Software; not ActiveSync or Windows Mobile Device Center.

Now I'm curious if this will eventually lead to a full version of Zune Software for Mac.

WP7 with the Zune interface puts in direct competition with the iPhone. MS actually took one of the top Zune UI developers and has had him working with the WP7 UI Team. The results are quite impressive.

If MS does develop a [full] Mac version of the Zune S/W they may be trying to get people to into the WP7 Phone realm instead of trying to, convert,' iPhone users.
