Clearwire Shopping Spectrum to Raise Funds
Well, so much for...
...buying tons of spectrum and holding on to it for development 10 years down the road.
Nextel spent 1/2 a billion dollars on some narrow bands of 700 MHz spectrum back in September 2000. Maybe they could get some cash out of that holding from auction #33.
Too bad all they bought was B block spectrum. Verizon would give a tooth or two for those upper A-block bands!!!
