I can't help but wonder why Verizon is doing so much to help small cellular companies. This one also clearly benefits Verizon, but shifting away from handset exclusivity is a little more difficult to explain.

because once the small carriers beef up their networks NOT ON VZW's dime. verizon will most likely attempt a buyout and since there's no ~real~ regulations in the telecom industry. it will almost certainly happy thus sadly helping big red get even fatter. thats just my take on it 🤨
