So this app is almost worthless.

Not bashing Android, I'm just saying, If an application designed by a large corporation can only work on devices 2.1 or above, yet STILL has problems with at least 4 of the phones "compatible" AND it doesn't let you use it properly when actually using your providers network how is it worth even talking about?

Sounds about as useful as a fart App.

There is nothing wrong with a fart app if used correctly. In the hands of the irresponsible, the fart app becomes a toy that is almost characterized as a novelty with no clear designated intention for useful help. But, in the hands of an individual with cunning abilities, the fart app becomes a quintessential tool in compromising situations. Equivalent to a pawn in chess. This sacrificial lamb could in fact, be the most powerful piece on the board if implemented with precision strategy.

However, comparing this app with a fart app, is misaligned with the true intent of skype's design and overall usefulness once upgraded.

Developers are only going to focus on volume models in the platform. Bad news if you have a Samsung Moment or LG Ally or Motorola I1.

Android isn't strong enough as a platform to support much hardware diversity.
