the situation, let me explain this to you. While you are so gaily flaunting this demand from the FCC as 'what Verizon deserves,' you are condoning socialism in the United States of America. The FCC should have no right to interfere with businesses, no matter what level of greed is being dealt with.
I feel that I should explain my position as not a supporter of Verizon Wireless. Naturally, this should come as some sort of relief to me, because it is slightly effecting VZW's profit margin. Let me also explain, however, that I am more of a non-supporter of a controlling tyranny than any other business in the world.
It's quite frightening that the country that prides itself on giving freedom to its citizens contains consumers that condo...

There are not enough faces nor enough palms in the entirety of the human race to respond to that particular heap of glittering generalities.

"The figments of ages past concocting immeasurable intuition have bestowed upon this day those attributes which we, so many. have exonerated to the highest esteem. Forthright we make posthaste to extrapolate thence by matriculating these anthropomorphic ideals. Ideals held not by undulating masses, rather to those who thenceforth venture. blah blah blah put some more big words here, for I grow weary of this postulating propensity."

I'd go on, but thinking of random "big words" to make me sound smartically more better makes me tired. Either way, this made as much sense as the original post. Joben, you've made your point - you're smartically more better. yaaaaawwwwwn...

I feel really bad about this post.

Yes. It sets an aura of fighting for the rights of business people and businesses operating on American soil. It also conveys the passion of needing to stand up for those rights through many outlets even if through such forums as Phone Scoop.

Yet, at the same time, it also dismisses other's opinions and rights to use whatever tools or outlets in the same manner to express their concerns.

Whether Verizon was right or wrong, Government was called upon by countless individuals to explore the possibility of wrong doing on Verizon's part. Government is not going to tell millions of people to go away and fight your own battles.

While I feel your sympathy in how you feel, and agree with some valid poin...

If you haven't already, read Atlas Shrugged. I enjoyed the book myself but the OP's words are almost taken word for word and adapted for this context from a part where this former millionaire turned pirate talks about why he hates Robin Hood.

I did take this from Atlas Shrugged. I practically plagiarized her by writing this post, but nonetheless it's how I feel. It comes as no surprise that there is quite a bit of opposition to Rand's work.
Call me crazy, but I believe in laissez-faire capitalism.

I see that having an oppossing opinion is not tolerated in the world of phonescoop forums. I don't understand why I try to opine when time and time again my beliefs are pushed aside as irrelevant and stupid.

I guess I should stick with what is expected of me in forums.
