Verizon's Motorola Droid 2 R2-D2 Lands Thursday

Well guess what I'm not some biased wireless employee or mindless fanboy like *MOST* on Phone Scoop, I'm an honest consumer who with whatever is best, and right now, the Epic 4G is King of smartphones with it's 5-row keyboard and Super AMOLED screen, that isn't too big or too small.

it means they already picked the carrier.

From a consumer point of view, the DUMBEST thing you can do is choose a device and then accept the network it's on.

You want to select the network (or networks) that work for you where you need to, find the one that gives you the best value and THEN look at devices.

If someone is in an area where Sprint and Verizon give them equal coverage, they wouldn't even be considering the D2. So yes, saying "D2 or Epic" is trolling, even from a consumer point of view.

Oh, ooops, well I guess I made my choice based on the wrong decisions then, huh? I didn't come to Verizon because it's
-supposedly- "America's most reliable network" but because I wanted the Motorola Droid. I based my decision on device, not network. I actually think ATTs voice & data in Las Vegas is better than Verizon. I'm not brainwashed by Verizon's marketing, my Droid drops down from 3G to 1x more often than my N95 dropped from 3G to EDGE. And I get more dropped calls on Verizon than I did with ATT.

oh i was with verizon for 8 years and switched to sprint and i couldnt be more happy!! what i dont get is why pay their prices when you can get pretty much the samething for half the price!! i know some verizon zombies on here dont beleive me when i say i get the same coverage but thats ok because i see it first hand!! 🤣

It just seems like just because somone recieves a paycheck from a wireless carrier that person is loyal to that company, and believes in their policies. To me, a job is just a means to keep the bills paid. Corporations are loyal to stock holders, not employees, not customers. So why be loyal to them?

I'm not "Loyal" to Verizon, but that doesn't mean I'll just jump on any bandwagon that is bashing them to prove that I'm not loyal to them.

Jay, I was a customer of verizon for over 3 years before I even had an INTEREST in selling cellphones, let alone marketing in general.

I agreed to work for that first cellphone company because I thought they sold a decent product. Yes, there are some shady reps out there, and yes, Marketing is marketing and can't be taken seriously. But all things being equal, my experience as a CONSUMER with Verizon Wireless has been a positive one.

They're not perfect, they have a lot of flaws, but when people like You and others come onto sites like this and start going on about how you're "real customers" ...

Hey, I've sold AT&T and Dobson Cellular One for as long as I can remember, and yeah, I DO believe that where I am at AT&T is the best choice for coverage and data. It has to do with the fact I had VZW and my wife did until a month or two ago. Do I -LIKE- AT&T as a company? welllll.... ummmmmm.... I believe in what I sell or I wouldn't be doing it. That's not to say VZW isn't great too. They're a fine company with great coverage here.
I have to admit though, I root for T-Mo and Sprint. I like to see what they are up to. Their coverage in my area of NY is pretty awful, so they pose no threat to my sales. I work for T-Mobile myself, and I am a fan of every network except for Verizon. I use AT&T myself.

My bias lies merely in whatever works for ME.

Well since your still up and replying, I've got an Android ? 4 U. I have a lot of bus schedules saved as .pdf files, do you have any
idea how I can put all my .pdf files into a folder?

Do you mean on your SD card or on your homescreen?

For your SD card,you can get an app called Astro that allows you to move files around. I highly recommend it anyway because it's nice seeing what you have on your phone.

If you mean on your desktop:

First still need astro. Then you need to move all your PDF's into the same folder on astro.

Then you long press on your homescreen, select "shortcut" one of the options will be Astro. Select it, and navigate to the folder on your SD card where the PDF's are kept. open it, but dont click on anything inside it. On the bottom of that screen, you'll see an ok button. hit it. and name it "bus schedules" and hit ok.

You should have a folder named Bus Schedules on your homescreen...

Im a former customer of the 4th reich ( verizon ) who escaped their power an came over to sprint and i love sprint!! Only thing verizon has is their lame coverage map but ill get coverage anywhere verizon has coverage ( thanks to roaming ) so i get the same coverage with unlimited data, texts n mobile to mobile way cheaper then verizon so in the end all i have to say to the verizon zombies is HAHAHA suckas.
