I also agree. Where will it end? There is no hard evidence that proves that a cell phone or the use of a cell phone is the main cause of an accident it was involved in. If someone runs through an intersection and slams into your car and you were talking on the phone you would be at fault even though you had the right of way. Its like they are saying talking or texting is more dangerous than drunk driving. Its not cell phone use thats dangerous, its inattentive driving and the idiots who type out several long messages without looking at the road are the ones who cause accidents. I've sent texts while driving, but only by pecking out a few letters while not taking my eyes off the road. Granted my texts dont always make sense either but its safer than not looking at the road.
