this is big news in NYC and LA... I wonder why noone has commented about 4g service in these areas now and if anyone has been able to pick up the 4g signal -- if its consisten -- fast -- etc?

Since most comments on this subject are generated by Anti-WiMAX opponents, news of this kind is most definitely a testament of its reality. With Sprint about to release more news on an innovative technological advancement on top of their already released statement of the WiMAX2 initiative, Maybe people will take Sprint more seriously.

Dan Hesse and his team are not screwing around. Turning Sprint into a much more formidable entity, is a prerequisite. Not an option. Stay tuned for more news on Sprint.

Well in my opinion the marketing campaign is doing a good job, however to me it feels like almost 99% of the people I know still have the idea in their heads that Verizon is the best network ever and most reliable coverage and the sprint reputation is still damaged from the merger with nextel years ago.

It bothers me because Sprints voice coverage is almost identical to verizon and in terms of data we have them crushed. Lets not even get into how Sprints rate plans provide the best value in the industry by far and a huge savings compared to AT&T and Verizon when picking identical plan options.

Yes, Verizon is launching their LTE 4g service soon, but what people do not understand or comprehend is that Verizon has about only 25% of the...

What is really impressive, is the fact that Sprint is listening. Every single time I have contacted them through Dan's email, they have returned an answer by phone call without fail.

There is little doubt that Sprint suffered an image deficiency over the Nextel merge. But seriously, how long are people going to hold a grudge? Nothing is more frustrating knowing colleagues of mine, left for supposedly greener pastures, only to litigate complaints of higher bills. Yet some won't return. I have fortunately been able to persuade many to come back and they love the change.

Sprint needs to press forward as tenacious as they have been recently. Eventually, people will re-discover that they have changed and for the much better. I almost left ...
