Upgraded last night, and to be honest, the most striking difference is that the icon changed... that's actually going to take some getting used to.

haha, yeah.

Everything else on iTunes 10 is juuuuust different enough to make you notice.

It's a LOT cleaner now. I can't describe how, but it is definitely nicer.

I tried to upgrade when the announcement was made last week and it wasn't available yet. I figured I'd just wait until the auto updater flagged me, which didn't happen until last night. I'd imagine it's the same for a lot of people. 🙂

iTunes for Windows still sucks but I will give them credit that version 10.0 sucks significantly less than previous versions...in particular, it appears to have fixed the speed problem.....in the past...I would click on the iTunes icon....then go brew myself a pot of coffee, take a shower, get dressed, and if I was lucky by the time I got back iTunes was up....now I click on and it is up in two minutes....

okay, I admit that's an improvement, but the program is still hopelessly bloated and Apple would do well to completely scrap it and start over from the beginning, including making all of these features independent...have one program as a media player, one program for syncing and activating iDevices...the iTunes store should be completel...

Hmmm, I have never had a problem with iTunes taking long to load on any of my Windows based systems. Even prior to 10.0, it would never take my PC longer than 3-4 sec to load iTunes.

Ditto. I think you need to clean the cobwebs out of your PC and upgrade the monkeys-with-hammers-and-chisels to something more up-to-date. =p

I hardly think the problem is my two month old Windows 7 PC which installed 2GB worth of Windows Updates, including a system reboot, in under 5 minutes is the culprit here.

Every other program runs slicker than snot.....iTunes is the only one that has a problem. The first, and so far, ONLY program to crash since I got this computer.

Poor installation perhaps? Uninstall and reinstall? Again I have never had an issue with iTunes on any system I have ever owned. Multiple versions of windows, Pentium 4 computers through i7.
