I have to admit the idea of being able to get a Droid 2 or X with no contract is pretty tempting. I wonder how much the full price for one of those bad boys is.

560ish + tax. I know my owner (indirect agent) is probably going to try to get 600+ since cost on these devices is still high.

The prices for the phones are the 1 year contract prices! So if you want a Droid or Blackberry on prepaid, just go to Verizons site and choose the 1 year price, thats what you will pay to get the phone on prepaid. I just got back from the Verizon store.

The smartphones will range from 195-395. A bit more than the 1yr contract but still less than full retail. Or u can byop.
