my regional company offers Nationwide (Sprint network) @ $40 for 5GB or $50 for 10GB.

Just really interesting move on VZW's part.

Some people feel more powerful if they spend more money for the same service... i.e. I'm better than you because I pay $30.000 for a car, and you can pay only $5.000... This is just matter of "how powerful are you" or "if your wage can afford this plan, get it, if not, f u"... To me, it's BS!!! I'd rather paying a good price for a good service, and if I can get the same service, half price, I'll go for half price!!! And I'm not greedy, I'm just eralistic, and I know I can take those $40 that I'm saving and spend them with my GF... That's my point of view...

Not quite apples to apples though. Different coverage area. Virgin can only use sprint towers. Whether or not that difference in coverage justifies the difference in price is up to each consumer to decide based on the signal where view plan on using the service.

Whether right or wrong, Verizon does not care about what Ntelos does (assuming that is your regional carrier). Their arrogance thinks that their coverage justifies whatever price tag they put on a service. In this case, they are wrong, because hardly anyone is going to buy that.
