Verizon Adds $80 5 GB Option to Pre-Paid Data
Let's see, I can pay $80 for 5 GB of data with Verizon, or $40 for unlimited data with Virgin
Yeah, that's showin' 'em, Verizon! Keepin' it competitive!
🙄
This must be part of Verizon's "We Think Customers Are Really Stupid" marketing campaign.
Guess what? Price is not the only consideration.
So basically dont hack it until you've tried it is basically what Im saying
If price was the only factor Verizon would go bankrupt because it's plans are the most expensive of any national carrier, and yet they are #1 in customers, and growing.
Many people are willing to pay more for a service that they see as somehow 'better'
they use the same network its a 3g evdo rev-a netowrk virgin is on sprint, do a data speed test virgin, aka sprint prepaid pulls just as good or better than verizon people who think verizon is better watch to much tv, people like my customers who want to cancel with sprint becasue we dont have a droid at verizon, verizon has made consumers so stupid they do no understand every google phone works the same verizon markets for retartds, but there sure are a he** off a lot of raTards in this country that buy it
Frankly I think that choosing a network for a certain phone is dumb, first you choose the network THEN you choose the phone, doing it the other way around only leads to customer dissatisfaction because they get stuck in networks they don't like.
What I am defending is the idea that one is not necessarily 'retarded' because they choose to pay a higher price for a service.
The idea that it is 'retarded' to pay more for Verizon data plan than a Virgin Mobile data plan is makes sense only if you assume that the two services are exactly equivalent in every respect save the price. And I don't think one can reasonably make that argument.
Rule the air must mean put out more propoganda mis-stating reality. Spend more money convincing people that no other network will work and yes you rule the air.
Many people don't switch because 5-7 years ago Verizon did have a clear network advantage. Times have changed but many people had such a bad experience with other carriers many years ago that they will not change. They still say that Sprint and T-Mobile have terrible coverage and tout Verizon while on "extended network" in downtown areas.
