DRM "OMA DRM 1.0 with Forward Lock. Microsoft® Janus"

I want to be interested... but a phone with DRM baked in?

Doesn't mention version of Android either.

Why does AT&T seem determined to **** over Android?

Anyone try this phone out yet?

Hmm, an Android phone with no market? Talk about cutting Androids balls off.

I clicked on the link in the article, and there's is a picture showing the icon for the market, I don't know where you get the idea this thing doesn't have the market on it.

must have had old information... can't remember.

Still... all the reviews about this phone still says one thing: **** it.

Screw Dell. Screw AT&T. Screw the iPhone.

I don't have issue with AT&T cell phone coverage/service/customer service...

I have issue with sand boxed phones that "need" to be jailbroken.

I was hoping to avoid this with android but it doesn't seem to be in the cards

I was with Cingular/ATT for 8yrs and I had no complaints with ATTs service. I left due to lack of quality Android choices.

If you want a *real high-end* Android smartphone perhaps you should consider the Droid 2, Epic 4G, or HTC G2.
At least those would be my recommendations.
Personally I prefer the Epic 4G, beautiful Super AMOLED 4in screen, spacious 5-row keyboard.

IMO ATT isn't the carrier for those who want high-end Android's.

Well... the main reason I'm on AT&T is my family is, and they have no change coming any time soon.

I'm also on contract for a little while longer.

I've heard good things about the new Samsung Android coming out. Root isn't that hard to get from what I hear, so it should be customizable to the level I want.

You should really read the articles and go to the website before you talk SH!T...............

"choose from more than 40,000 Android Market apps. Aero makes it easy to set up and access multiple e-mail accounts; at the same time, you can multitask, listen to music and talk on the phone."

Isn't there more like 70,000 Android apps now?

They've got hardware DRM. To protect Android's 'openness'.

If you want a non-****'d over Android handset you own a Nexus One or original Droid.
