Oh Please
I've been somewhat impressed with TMO and its innovation in phones, but this, well, I guess every company gets "Kin"ed now and then.

And it's the same market as the Kin - teens & tweens. And I'd have to say mostly female. I got to play with one in a training session last week - it's not a bad phone, but it's definitely NOT for a power user. The screen resolution is poor, but it is fast and runs every program I tried out very well. Live wallpapers were active and smooth. The keyboard is reactive and feels solid, but the keys are tiny. Not meant for a guy like me with big hands, but again the teen/tween girls will be just fine. That's why it's part of the "back to school" messaging phone lineup.

And to add, 9 out of 10 smartphone users are not "power users" and do not need top notch components to do what they want to do, which is:
Text (yay for hardware KBs)
Download FB and Twit apps
stream music
send email.
Thanks for your assessments, but they are obviously out of touch with what actually makes money. Which is what companies need to stay above water.
