Possibly. Sprint is finally starting to dig themselves out of the mindshare hole they've been in for the past few years.
But on the other hand, this could just be another step to get users used to the idea of data. I wouldn't be surprised if they brought this out but required a smartphone to get it or something.
I'm glad to see sprint improving, and by the looks of it, Verizon and others are starting to take notice, but I don't think they consider them serious competition just yet.
