I doubt if they are laughing and I think you will see a financial settlement in the future. If you infringe on a patent, you should pay the licensing fees. If it was your intellectual property being misused without you getting paid then I can guarantee you would see this totally different. Nobody is hating on Google. They just need to stop using the patents or pay up. Thats the way the system works and its the best system out there to make sure that developers are compensated for their work.
