1) It's on Verizon's network. Verizon's network can't handle video calling as it's too slow for decent upload speeds.
2) The screen resolution isn't any better on any other phone except for the iPhone 4.
3) At least it doesn't look like the cheap chinese POS the last one looked like.

You are right, this is a fail. I have the D1 and I'm not tempted to get the new one. I already have froyo which has apps to sd so I don't have a memory problem. I'm pulling great quadrant scores and don't have any lag with the adjustments I've made. If they had included an 8 mp camera, hd video, and that 4" amoled screen that's hitting the market in some other phones now, I would have been all over this one.
