2.2 Froyo Update

Would this be available for update? 1.6 is so behind, makes no sense if this will not be updated to 2.2. Please share your thoughts/info

I was told the X10 "will be upgradeable in the future."

"Upgradeable" does not necessarily = "upgraded."

Neither SE nor AT&T would commit to when, nor what version of Android.

SE's language is very vague and non-committal.

Do you know if SE has fixed the multi touch? Thousands of years ago when I first heard about the X10 I read that the screen on the X10 isn't capable of multi touch.

From what I understand no. This phone is not capable of mult-touch and thus will not be able to do "pinch to zoom" functions.

All I'm gonna say is that I really, really hope consumers do their research! No 2.1/2.2, no mention of wifi n, heck Sony is so far behind with their product that they didn't even include their own screen tech, Super LCD.

This phone DOES have WiFi... I just asked a friend of mine who has been using this phone unlocked for a few months now...
