Although, just about anything is a step in the right direction for RIM right now.

Good luck Blackberry, I honestly hope you can make the phone I remember, the one that used to make me wonder "what does that guy do for a living" when I was a kid.

You have failed over and over and over again, but there is no such thing as a failure that keeps trying.

Do you live in a different reality than the rest of us? RIM is the standard as far as I'm concerned.

RIM was the standard pre-2007.

Coming out with a touch-interface, slide out keyboard, borrowing from other mobile platforms features like multi-touch, push and hold for options...

I'd say Blackberry is no longer setting the standard, but trying to keep up with it.

No one builds hardware on par with RIM--and if you must have apps to turn on your TV, stick with Android and Apple.
