Still into crippling devices I see. If you think your customers are that stupid that they won't discover that 2.2 has native support for tethering/hotspot or that the hardware DOES support tethering, then why not flash the droid with BREW and tell them Adroid is available for $15/month 🤣

I have no idea why it was blocked though. All recent builds redirected the user to a VZAccess website on a computer when they tried using tethered data with the droid. So obviously they were working on the feature and had it basically entirely functional.

I was hoping I would get the 2.2 update last night while I was @ work. . .I didnt 😡 .

I am anxiously waiting to see what this 2x-5x web browser is all about.

2.2 is out. You can manually install it (takes a bit of work) but it doesn't void your warranty or anything.

Just did it on my dad's phone, perfect install
