I agree.

I think it is really something when the smaller carriers pave the way for aggressive determination in delivering new technology.

How long would we have had to wait for a 4G technology if not for Sprint or MetroPCS?

LOL i dont really believe you meant it that way, but it kinda comes across as an underhanded stab at Sprint to lump them with MetroPCS as one of the "smaller" carriers. They still make up the 3rd member of the "Big 3"

Lol. No I didn't mean it that way. It's just that VZW and ATT always seem to follow, rather than take the helm. And they're the ones with the money.

Its easier for a small carrier to roll out to a small segment of consumers the supposed first LTE phone.

Why do you say "supposed" first LTE phone, do you not think this is the first LTE phone?

Vzn said they will be showcasing LTE phones at CES in January, as of right now the only hardware they have is the LG usb modem that they are currently using for testing, that recently went through the FCC.

While there is some truth in your post, the two largest carriers have and always will continue to do bare minimum while simultaneously raking in revenue. It was only after Sprint announced a 4G network, that the other carriers(specifically VZW) would be also rolling out 4G.

Why shouldn't VZW roll out 4G first? They simply don't need to. People have been sold on VZW. Only when competition heats up, do the two begin a move to enhance the future.

Say what you want. But having Sprint and Tmo around only keeps the larger carriers in check.

I am quite impressed with Sprint's diligence and visionary discipline to move forward and turn things around. Once the number one carrier, they are emerging as the epitome of setting things back into...
