Scam.

This is likely a scam- rehashing the old Globetel Wimax fraud and the Sanswire scam.

MSV has been going to CTIA for a couple years now under various names, and while at first they seemed to be full of vapor, TerreStar did eventually launch a satellite last year. Its in geosync, and offers reasonably fast all IP network, which can be used for VoIP/Data services.

While im sure someone will pick up their GSM/Sat hybrid mobile phone (which is the size of a smart phone, infact, it is a smartphone). the biggest problem is that its not a simple chip or module you can drop in -- its a sizable chunk of discrete components. Hopefully the size reduces so their satellite product can be implemented in other devices..

The most popular service is probably going to be their wholesale LTE network, which has a lot of applications in ...
