Nokia Statement Backs Apple's iPhone Defense
Uh, backs?
It reads like a subtle jab at Apple.
Which Apple deserves. Because it sucks.
I know this is a forum for cell phone discussion, but seriously, there's more to life.
I had a BBQ at the park with my friends today. It was very nice.

What exactly makes you hate Apple so much?
Because I hate form over function.
That's the more relevant question.

Do you hate people who value form over function?
That's the more relevant question.
No. Because not everyone cares about the same things I care about.

So then why do you hate Apple?
Didn't take you pills, eh? Once more: form over function.

Apple is an excellent company that offers both form and function... except for that one time they decided to revolutionize the wireless industry with an antenna that doesn't work correctly.
Don't forget the phone that doesn't allow you to change its battery. Or the 'revolutionary' tablet computer which doesn't have USB ports, Flash, or any type of port to hook a digital camera up to.
Brilliant stuff. Very functional.

No, you stated you hate form over function, but I don't see why that would equate to you hating Apple, a company that is one of the few in not viewing them as mutually exclusive goals.
Apple has been building glossy, over-hyped, pretty, un-updatable crap for YEARS.
How's that for form over function?

Iphone rocked my world in 2007, and only recently other phones have become cooler in my opinion. I give credit to apple for starting and for a short time ruling the touchscreen smartphone mania. But it no longer is the best in my opinion. No vitriol from me.
The iPhone deserves its place in the cell phone pantheon. But there are many, many better alternatives out there that do so much more than the iPhone.

There you go, Pill:
