Most likely the device won't launch until there is 4g commercially available SOMEWHERE, but they'll still use that line to sell it to other customers.
I'm really interested in seeing how the dating prices play out. With the 3g plans stick and then you can buy 4g? will it be 4g or nothing?

I saw a video where users were trying it in Boston I believe. The speeds were about 8Meg up and 2 down. People were saying it was faster than their home internet. of course there wuldn't be any congestion on that test 🙂 . I wish I had both hands to find a link, but I am typing one handed holding my baby girl.

USe your head... It takes a while for the FCC to approve equipment... It wouldnt make sense for them to send the modem for approval after they launch LTE. Also Im sure they are going to use to modem to test their LTE network even further. Also, they are probably going to test the device to make sure its working properly before the launch date.
