Apple Distributes iOS 4.0.1 to Fix Antenna Software
Careful could brick your phone!
Did the update today to the 4.0.1 with my iPhone 4 and in less then 5 minutes I was holding a brick that had a pretty picture of a USB cable and a disk. In short - update at your own risk - it only cost me a 3 hour phone call to Applecare, 200 mile round trip, and a guy in a blue shirt to tell me my phone needed replaced and could not be fixed. Oh yeah, new phone - same antenna issue. So, don't think they are secretly doing a recall cause I got most recent build.
