2) you created your own post instead of replying to people.
3) Verizon has smartphone users, not as much as ATT but they have quite a few.
4) CDMA and GSM operate differently for data, so no, the results would not be the same
EV-DO has smaller bandwidth than HSDPA(and whatever variants) and it also has lower upper bound for simultaneous users on a single tower.
It's known in the industry that Music on Demand is already taxing the network(even before taking smartphones into consideration).
And in the past two years they've added several million smartphone users. It won't be exactly the same as you have now. but you WONT have phones not able to make calls because of heavy data usage. Data and Voice on verizon have their own separate receptors on towers.
Go try propping up your straw man somewhere else instead of trying to tell me what I did and didn't say.

I can't wait till iPhone goes to verizon. Just to watch their network crash and burn. I'm sure I'll get a whole bunch of post saying that verizon network is amazing blah blah blah. Please take the iPhone and have millions of users get on your network at the same time and use the Internet. And then we will see just how "reliable" your network really is. Ohh and as of right now I've done speed test on the droid x and the iPhone 4 to the same server. Att hands down every time by 30 to 40%. Then I'm sure I'll get someone say " yeah if you have coverage" listen it seems like no matter what every verizon customer lives in a whole where no other cell phone company can reach. Please take the iPhone so you can bitch
