I heard that a lot of people are having problems with this phone. If they move their hand a little bit and the phone starts to slide close the call hangs up. Any comments?

this phone spins, not slides. and when it is spun open, the hinge is locked quite firmly in place. in addition, spinning the phone open or closed does not answer / hang up a call. i don't believe you're talking about this phone unles maybe you could explain the problem better?

Actually, the w600 has had quite a few problems already, and I have had many returns on the phone. It is a sweet looking phone and has some great features. One of the main problems I keep hearing about repeatedly though is that the phone will randomly shut off when being opened or closed, and it is no small number of phones that are being returned to sony as defective phones.....but I would still love to win it.

No, that is the phone that I was thinking about. I misspoke about the sliding. Yes it is a flip and I've heard that people are having problems with the phone being sensitive and hanging up on them. Am I alone on this?
