Cool it blue, this phone is designed for a specific segment of the market, for those who are not wireless technogeeks like us.
Not being in sales or marketing I can see where you would not see the value of a more simple device for specific customers.

I don't agree with Blue too often, but to omit Rev.O at this price point seems meaningless. They(Samsung) did this with the second generation Instinct as well. Poor move. The people that love the 1st Moment, will be in for a ride.

Wow! Tha's absolulu atrocious that it doesn't have Rev.A.
I have a hard enough time waiting for webpages to load on Rev.A forget about anything less.

Isn't Rev.0 worse than GSM's EDGE?

Rev 0 allows for download speeds of 2.1 mbps, rev a allows for 3.2 mbps. Rev 0 upload is about 250-500 kbps, while rev a is 500kbps to 1.5 mbps.

EDGE is up to 400kbps on download and about 100-150kbps on the upload. There is a huge difference.

For the target audience of this phone they will not miss rev a speeds. They won't know the difference. I can see this becoming a free Android phone, at least at RadioShack and Best Buy. For the tech savvy, like all of you reading this post Samsung has something else for you coming soon.

I consider myself pretty savvy, and I'd get this phone in a heartbeat.

This phone does everything I can possibly want my phone to do. I don't need to control orbiting satellites.

Yeah, Rev A is pretty useful for a smartphone, if for nothing else than uploading pictures.

Ah, that explains the rev. 0. Thank you.

As for bluepeyote...ignore him. He's a zealot.
