T-Mobile Discontinuing Sidekick Sales Starting July 2
Please....
As one of the very few people in the country outside of Danger/MS to test the phone prior to release during a focus group study in February, I saw it represented as the "new & cool social networking phone". I tried to tell them it was a disaster waiting to hit the marketplace, and was no where near a replacement for the SideKick.
Even the SideKicks are no longer a competitor for the new Android Phones. But, that's because Danger lost Andy Rubin, and he was the visionary behind the SideKick, and moved on to better concepts that the Venture Capitalists in control of Danger didn't think would be profitable. (Bet they are sorry now...)
