If you want to return the beloved phone you need to pay a restocking fee.
...
So that "beloved" TV, or your "beloved" car stereo, iPod or even you're "beloved" game system has some kind of re-stocking fee. (if you can return them at all after being used!!!)
Word on the street has it that any device being returned fails to qualify under "beloved" Thats just a rumor though...
What's your point anyway?
...
If there IS a restocking fee, then I believe that the original post's intent was to point out that customers who return their devices are essentially being conned out of $35 because of a defect that Apple is understating the severity of. I can understand there being a lawsuit if people can't return a device because it's legitimately defective without having some of their money taken away.

The LG Neon was the worst rated phone in AT&T history. There's a restocking fee on that. No one has sued LG yet. The only thing here is, some lawyer took a look at the sales totals of 1.4mil devices sold at the lowest cost of $199.99 and figured out Apple just came into a good chunk of $248 mil. and decided they wanted a bite of someone else's cake.
...
And I say $248, because some of the iphone sales totals were for the lower cost devices, not all were iPhone 4's. So don't diss my math. =p
...
actually justfine you are incorrect as far as the restocking fees. not all places charge restocking fees walmart does not best buy does not game stop does not on returns just letting you know facts bro 🙂
...
Best buy does, Game Stop certainly does and Walmart does not. If you purchase a CD, DVD or game from Walmart it is un-returnable, re-stocking fee or not.
2 out of 3 isn't that bad though.
You cannot return a gaming system at all from GameStop if it has been opened, but they are more than willing to purchase it back from you at about a quarter the price, even if you bought the thing 10 minutes previous.
I recently purchased a Nokia e71x from Best Buy and they DEFINATLY charged me a re-stocking fee when I returned it a day later.
Correct me if I'm wrong, (I'm not) but I'm pretty sure you just made all of that up.
...
Best buy doesn't charge a restock fee, for returning a phone that has a defect, or a technical issue.
...

...
