they didn't have to kill it
it was dead on arrival..er conception
Microsoft shareholders should be asking
how did it ever get as far as it did?
...
no doubt. everything on that phone was complete crap
...
yeah, but does it lose reception when you, you know, hold it in your hand like a phone?
...
Who made the Kin anyway? I guess I forgot.
...
Oh. . .yeah.
The Kin may have sucked, most of us agree on that, but there was a crowd for it.
...
I don't think it sucked, it's just not something most of us would use or want here. The Kin should have had a universal release for all carriers, the phone cost is ok, but the use cost was high, it should have been charged like a data phone. Teenagers and those who don't wish a smartphone i.e. Android, iPhone etc. may have opted for something like this.
...
I mean a data, as in a feature phone.

Not to mention that they required $30 data plan for a dumbphone lol
...
That phone should have been targeted for prepaid users and maybe should have been a replacement for the sidekick with T-Mobile.
...
I agree w/u about the replacement for the Sidekick idea, seems like the Kin would have fit that crowd.
