They should auction off ALL remaining spectrum and then shut down the FCC.

Do you REALLY think the FCC's sole purpose for existing is to sell radio wave leases?

Spectrum auctions account for less then 1% of FCC responsibilities. Get educated.

I find it amusing that rather than counter arguing my rather vague statement, you have simply chosen to insult me.

I have provided no information as to what my presuppositions are or no clear indications as to what my understanding of the FCC's role. My original statement was simply too vague to make any conclusion.

Let me give you another simple statement that you can choose to make whatever assumptions you want. I do not believe the FCC should be performing ANY of its official functions. Engineering and technical issues are irrelevant to me. This is a purely legal, political, and property based issue to me.

To answer your question about do I understand the FCC or not, I have to say I don't(like most government bureaucracies). ...

So is it safe more me to assume that you consider intelligent debate where we can learn a thing or two only served for fat old Englishmen from an era that neither of us existed?

Funny you mention that because I've noticed that cultures and societies that have a vibrant exchange of ideas tend to be the ones that are better off.

no actully i like a good debate, but i also have an over active highly random imagination. that thats where my mind went. an exchange of ideas is all fine and dandy but the over intellectualized jargon is not always needed, but to each his own. do you homie, i found it humorous, that is all.

P.S. i like fat old englishmen, they make me laugh.
