Honestly, I'm not sure you will have any problem making video calls with:
1. Over a million sold first day (kind of a prediction really, but I'm pretty sure I'm right... who knows)
2. Facetime being Open-source (anyone can develop for it.)

Those were pre-orders. There were most likely some in store sales.. but I doubt it was 400k, just because that's a really high number and they cut off preorders because of stock issue,.

In reality, this is a cool idea. It will be really good for those people who bought it on the first day and all their other friends waited (or like one of my friends who has it up on ebay)
I have no issues with Apple support. When I had issues with my computer, they always had the coolest hold music.

Actually, we just make national news with a gas rig explosion like 2 weeks ago. Guy hit a 36 inch pipe just down the road 2 miles. We heard the blast and felt a heat wave, then saw smoke for hours. Poor guys, gas/oil is tough work.

Yeah, and Apple is also gathering information on you whenever you make a FaceTalk call(or whatever it is called), and your conversation is amazingly easy to snoop on when you make it over WiFi. Oh, and Apple + AT&T will be sending out OTA updates every other week, which you are only allowed to ignore once, and will re-lock your phone if you happen to unlock it. That last bit applies to any phone running iOS4. Yeah, I'm good with Apple. I feel like my girl's Mini is spying on me and reporting my actions to the thought police.

I was expecting something a little more creditable than this. This apple "source" writes like he dropped out of high school.
But that aside, I'm not seeing anything compelling. Carrier provisioning files contain nothing more than apn and mms settings (it would be odd but not impossible to issue a subsidy lock command through this) I am also not convinced that FaceTime is doing anything more than what is required for call setup.

I guess we will know soon enough about the OTA "re-locks". The lack of encryption on FaceTime is concerning as well. I wouldn't be surprised by either.
