Actually, alpha tags change all the time, who knows when that pic was taken. Considering that is a new phone, it probably isn't set up for consumer use and may therefore roam on a t-mobile tower and may possibly even get the tag when on an AT&T tower. It doesn't mean you will never get Cingular Extend message because, in fact, you could still be on a roaming plan. If you aren't on a roaming plan, you may STILL get the Cingular Extend message but not get roaming CHARGES.
