CES 2006
Overall opinion is not too hot.
However, they had lots of misses, like the "calculator phone" and the a930 was not my cup of tea (and seems pretty fat).
Sony Ericcson and Motorola really had nothing really new there. SE's spinner phones are all beginning to look the same to me too (other than bright colours of the W600).
Pantech and UTStarcom? Man they were ugly, no correct that, fugly. Add the Kyocera strobe, which is a cross between Motorolas old "peanut phone" and LG's fat 9100.
Speaking of LG, I thought they have the most diverse lineup. I really dug that 350 which has a metal interior (although the whole phone should be in black, not half of it) and the UMTS phone. DMB phones, continue to be ugly and Samsung pulled their design off better. But my favorite is the "Chocolate bar phone". That is sweet and it is the thickness of the RAZR I heard.
I'm sure the gloves (and beautiful designs) will appear more as CTIA comes in April, the true Cellular phone industry tradeshow.
