Motorola Q?
Any news on this little fella? Plans, dates, carrier, impression etc. Thank you.
Sorry if it was answered already!

The Q should be out on Verizon around March - May timeframe.
They're continuing to tweak the keyboard. It's slightly better each time we see it, but not dramatically different from the first time we saw it. The thumbwheel is slightly larger than before, but I don't like the new feel of it. It could still be tweaked more, though.
The display is improved - it was nice before, but it's pretty great-looking now. Also the new silver color scheme they're come up with for the UI looks really great - much better than the standard Windows Mobile blue, IMHO.

The first one will be CDMA.
There will definitely be versions for other networks. There are GSM prototypes out there.
But last I heard, Moto was considering skipping the GSM-only one and doing a WCDMA+GSM version. It won't be out until later, though.

Cool, thanks for the update Rich. Much appreciated

CDMA??? Verizon or over seas, i cant see sprint getting something like that.
...
No, you mis-understood. Rich said WCDMA, which means like UMTS for the GSM network. CDMA is what Verizon and Sprint uses. He is saying that instead of the GSM version of the Moto Q that was rumored, he heard that they might make it have UMTS and GPRS/EDGE compatible instead of only GPRS/EDGE, since Cingular and T-Mobile are going to start using 3G fully. Well atleast Cingular for now, until later this year then T-Mobile will have 3G.

Thank you! 😁
I shouldn't rush with a purchase of 700w just yet!
...
I believe this phone will be windows mobile 5.0 for smartphone which means no screen manipulation ie stylus. If ya ok with that fine if not then the treo 700w or in my opinion the xv6700 is the best. Pantech will have a pda phone coming this year as well but don't have any info on that yet.
