Seriously BlackBerry???

One of the biggest problems Blackberry's have is it's inability to handle a lot of downloaded software and new applications.

I've never heard someone say: "I want a BlackBerry for all those sweet Apps" But on more than one occasion I've heard people say "I want to run this thing over with my car because it keeps freezing it's Apps"

Don't give up BlackBerry! You have really solid phones that look super cool, fix your OS and THEN release this kind of stuff!!!!

I am not sure the Blackberry OS is to blame for everything though. One thing that is though is it's ability to keep too many apps open at once. Many people I run into don't close them properly and they wonder why they have issues! On more than one occasion I have run into lousy 3rd party apps. The OS itself is very reliable and stable. Most any Blackbery in the last year has had the memory to handle what most people throw at them.

App world is just one of a million places to get apps for blackberries and there were tons of them out there long before the Apples or Googles of the world made it fashionable to have 10s of thousands of them.

The BlackBerry Bold smartphone embodies elegant design without sacrificing the features or functionality you expect from a premium smartphone.

One of the limitations I've had with my BB Storm2 is the inability to store 3rd party apps on the SD Card. Device memory is limited to 256Mb. This article mentions the new App World will "contain more information about user apps, including where they are stored (device memory or storage card)." This is saying nothing! 3rd party apps are not going on the storage card, plain & simple. There is no plan by RIM to change this on the 5.0 OS.

The new upcoming 6.0 OS will supposedly feature over 500mb of memory but will not be applicable to most BBs already produced. So, in essence, the new app will advise what we already know...
