Wow, the nerve of some people! So flagrantly fraudulant yet they seemed to think they could get away with it?!

They most likely knew they'd get caught eventually, but odds are they made hundreds of thousands of dollars in the mean time. If the company is incorporated then the owners are somewhat shielded. Plus the way the legal system works, the amount paid will be a fraction of what they made overall.

I know this guy. He is super shady, and doesn't really have much regard for the U.S. laws. T-Mobile pulled his indirect dealer code TWICE (hence the name GSM cellular, even though Cricket is CDMA), and I believe Cingular pulled a dealer code from him as well, and all this was before he started selling Cricket.

Oh, and he wasn't incorporated, and he didn't make all that much money, and if he's not broke yet, the money he will have to shell out will break him.
