Google Lets Devs Tickle Android With Cloud to Device Messaging
tickle my nuts!!!
This is a tie in with their Chrome addon.
Basically, if you are viewing a page on your computer and have to leave, you press a button and it pushes the website to your phone and pops up your browser.
Or you can create a driving plan in google maps on your PC, hit a button, and it will open navigation on your phone and set up the route there.
Are both days of the Google developers conference available on YouTube?

and hardcore? Maybe I should get an android tattoo 😁 ?
A !!LOT!! of people in Las Vegas are super tatted up, they frinkin plaster themselves!!!
I designed one in college that I've been thinking about ever since. Ultimately, I think I'm just too much of a wus! I'm in enough pain every day, why would I intentionally inflict more? 😉
Whatever I'm doing that day maybe I'll just bring an issue of Wired magazine with me. I'll read the Iphone headlines later when the forums cool down.
I'm not trying to knock them - they've had more than their share of innovative and brilliant products. I'm just sick to death of the iPhone.
But if you read the article, what I don't understand is Google seems to be more concerned about desktop pcs than laptops.

Kinda how I think talking+driving should be. They shouldn't pull you over for talking on your phone, but if you were using a non-handsfree set, there should be an additional penalty if you were speeding/got into an accident, etc.

So ? for you, are there others like me that are fed up with the fact that this is June 1st and ATTs only Android option still remains thay retarded deformed Backflip? Has anybody come to where you work to port their ATT # over to Vzn for the Droid because of lack of Android on ATT? Frinkin June 1st already, I gave up waiting almost 10wks ago.
Interviewing for a manager position at a warehouse tomorrow. If that doesn't work, I'll most likely move back home, closer to philly. More jobs to choose from there.
My sister used to be an inventory boss at a huge supermarket distribution center call Bizzutto's, huge as in 110 receiving bays, they service Shaws and Stop & Shop and so on.
When I'm finished paying off my credit card I want !!out!! of security. Security is just too, too boring & anti-social of a job, no co-workers, security isn't even a real job, I just stand around and hang out and make sure I don't fall asleep, and chat w/u on PS!
So some job is better than no job, but with the job I'm at now, I'm barely scraping by. That job would be higher risk (I make less per hour base) though the commission potential is there.
You should move to Las Vegas! Your a late night person, this is a late night sort of place! And the wireless market here is very vibrant lots of potential for someone like yourself.
Hopeing to find something nicer closer to philly.
Is it bad that I actually WANT a 9-5 job?
And no of course it's not bad that you want a 9-5 job, that's normal. I prefer the east coast also, but it's very expensive there.
I have a few friends who moved out there. They said a lot of tech companies are moving into the area and the cost of living is decent.
One thing I really want to do is try and network with people again. At my old job, I was working so much I never got to really meet people in my area, and with the new job, I don't really have Bar cash, you know? I can get a cheap one bedroom from a relative back home, at least until I can get my feet on the ground again.
Really the only time I find myself @ a bar is to shoot pool. I looove playing pool. I started playing @ the Boys & Girls Club when I was 10.
The cost of living is very affordable in LV also, I can get a studio apt for $425-$450.
I kinda made a mistake of getting an apartment up here too fast because of my former job and it's really not good for my needs (though pretty cheap)
I don't want to rush to a new location/job again.
Looking at nevada jobs right now.. most seem to require an instate license.. weird.
Where exactly were you looking?
Me being from back east I'm a very cnservative/contemporary/ mild sort of person, and a lot girls here are wild, tatted up, lots of piercings, so me being a small town Ct guy I have trouble meeting a female.
I certainly don't intend to grow old here that's for sure!
There are a lot of easteners here though, NYers, Bostolnians, Chicagoans.
I used to play Warcraft and had a toon called Mennoknight (lol, I know) the guild leader couldn't pronounce my name, he said it like mE-no-knight, so I shortened the name to Menno.
When I started posting on forums and stuff, I used the name and I just kinda stuck
My username comes from a nickname this blackguy Art gave me way, way back in 1999 when I was working at my first full time job @ Burlington Coat Factory.
But back home, my nickname is Homer, cause my last name is Holm, and this guy Shawn in my neighborhood would call me Homer.
Also, I know your kind of a book worm, or so that's how you describe yourself, there's an aubible book reading app in thd works for Android!!! Pretty cool.
