haha, true. It would be amazing if Android had half the polish WebOS had!

I agree! I still say that WebOS is by far the slickest and most impressive operating system out there today.

As an OS Android feels like it's 2 years behind WebOS. They're smart for picking him off.

Indeed. It doesn't have the polish of webOS but it doesn't matter because nobody cares. This guy knows that webOS is as good as dead and he made the right decision. I look forward to what he will bring to Android in the future.

No.

WebOS will now have the push of the largest computer manufacturer.

All Android has is HTC and Motorola, neither of which have any branding. Android has mostly been pushed by Verizon.

That's true. People come to my Sprint stand all the time asking what "droid" phones we have. Thanks to VZW's silly naming nonsense, people think droid means the operating system itself.

Yep. What's funny is I haven't heard anyone refer to my Nexus One as anything other than a "Droid." I'm sure HTC is loving that.

The term "Droid" is what is getting people interested in the OS though. So it's a mixed blessing for you. On one hand, you don't have any
Droids, but you DO have android phones you can show them (unless you are ATT.. in which case I feel sorry for you)

They have the backflip, which they're not advertising as an android phone. In fact, most of the ads that feature it seem to push it as an android phone.

There is the N1, but atm, the only retail stores selling the N1 are Tmobile retailers.

Oh I agree. I have no problem showing people our android phones, with plans far cheaper than Verizon's.

(yes, I work at Sprint.) 🙂

The Moment rocks. I'm using one now. I wasn't sure how well I'd like it coming from a blackberry. So far I'm really impressed. 😁

On a scale from 1-10, I would give it an 8. The eight comes from being equipped with the slide out keyboard and the Flash for the Camera being able to provide enough light for an Ozzy concert. My Nephew has one and so does my Son's girlfriend. The 2.1 upgrade added some nice features. However, With or without the upgrade, both have said battery life is not as efficient as one would want. It is a rather thick device due in part to the keyboard. But all in all, it is a great phone. Neither have expressed any issues with their devices.

I like the Incredible. For most slab style phone users, I think the incredible is awesome. I like the 3.7in screen. My choice maybe out numbered, but I absolutely love the 4.3in screen on the HTC HD2 and EVO....

In case you haven't noticed, Android is slaying iPhone/WebOS/WinMo.

SLAYING.

No.

It's slaying WinMo. WebOS has had a slow start (but to be fair, so did Android).

Android's not anywhere close to the iPhone. Sales have been good but metrics are middling.

You should. WebOS is superior to Android.
