I do also believe that a company should compete and make sure they arent "price fixing"
Now this FCC should not be involved in much more other then that. Make sure the antenna's aren't giving people brain cancer and what not but nothing more!!!
If these company's are not price fixing then their is legitimate competition and if you don't like one company then go to the other, not b!tch and complain and mandate they "OPEN" all phones and "Unsubsidized" phones or what ever. The companies can close their networks all they want to where only Verizon phones can work on Verzon networks and Sprint can work on sprint. Make sure you get all the credit cards you can, disrespect, and max them out. Then you can live in debt for the rest of your life and be oh-so-happy.
If you don't want to sign a contract you can go with a no contract option which every carrier offers.
