I thought Spirit was just a jailbreak. Does it unlock the phone too?

it all depends on the baseband i though. newer basesbands cannot be unlocked, but may still be able to be jailbroken. one word: f0recast 😉

Yes, it is. i just came back and saw that I put letters instead of numbers in there. I failed miserably there, and knew the minute I opened the replies to it that someone would correct that. It was you. congrats. your gold star is in the mail
